Not Your Average Blanket

Thermal imaging systems detect the heat your body emits rather than visible light. That means even in complete darkness, warm objects stand out clearly against cooler surroundings.

Drones, search systems, and surveillance equipment increasingly rely on infrared sensors to detect heat signatures in outdoor environments. Unless something disrupts that signal, your body heat is easy to identify.

Common Questions

Sizing and Coverage

The Vaydr Anti-Thermal Blanket provides full-body coverage for concealment, ground cover, or gear protection in the field. The rectangular design allows the blanket to be easily deployed over a person, equipment, or a small area of terrain while still remaining compact enough to pack away quickly. Reinforced edge webbing and integrated metal eyelets allow the blanket to be secured to the ground, tied to nearby structures, or configured as a temporary shelter or visual barrier when needed.

Dimensions

Blanket Width: 137 cm or 59 inches
Blanket Length: 243 cm or 96 inches

Features and Materials

The blanket uses a three-layer construction designed for durability and thermal disruption. A top layer of cut air-gap webbing helps break up smooth surfaces and diffuse heat, while a conductive metal fabric core helps scatter and redistribute infrared energy.

The blanket is reinforced with an anti-snag structural mesh backing that adds strength and prevents tearing during movement through brush or rough terrain. The exterior fabric is made from PU-coated polyester that is waterproof, UV treated, rot and mold resistant, and designed to minimize shine and glare.

Finished with Vaydr’s proprietary Prairiebrush camouflage pattern, the blanket blends naturally into dry grass and mixed terrain while remaining lightweight and packable for field use.

Why VAYDR?

3 Problems We're Solving For Our Customers

Thermal Protection

Problem: Thermal cameras detect the heat your body emits, identifying warm objects even in total darkness.

Solution: Disrupt how body heat appears under infrared imaging, reducing the visibility of your thermal signature.

Visual Disruption

Problem: Movement and shape can still be spotted easily in open environments, especially when your outline contrasts.

Solution: Break up your visual silhouette, blend in with surrounding environments, reduce how easily you stand out.

Lightweight

Problem: Most concealment or emergency gear is bulky and difficult to carry in real outdoor situations.

Solution: Designed to fold compactly and deploy quickly, making it practical to carry in backpacks, vehicles, or emergency kits.
