Do these actually work?
The quickest check is your own phone: try face unlock while wearing a pair. Many customers find their phone no longer recognizes them, though results vary by device. You can also see the infrared comparison above, where regular sunglasses turn see-through under infrared light and Vaydr lenses stay dark. We'd rather show you than tell you.
How does GLX technology work?
GLX (green light lens technology) is a lens formulation designed to obscure the eye region that recognition systems map. It filters near-infrared light, which infrared cameras and face-unlock sensors use, and its dark tint covers the eyes in visible light. There is no coating to wear off. The filtering is in the lens material itself.
Can I wear Vaydr glasses indoors and outdoors during the day and night?
Yes. Vaydr glasses are designed for indoor and outdoor wear. They filter UV light and cut glare from screens and artificial lighting while maintaining clear, comfortable vision. Some environments may be too dark for our current lens tint. We're working on additional lens options for low-light situations.
What's your return and warranty policy?
Every pair comes with our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and a 5-year warranty on defects. Try them on. If you're not convinced, send them back for a refund or exchange. Lose or break a pair later? Replace it at half price. Warranty details
