Why we run a lab
Privacy products are easy to oversell. A claim like “blocks facial recognition” means nothing until someone says which camera, at what distance, in what light, and how often it worked.
Vaydr Labs is where we test our own products and publish what we find: the method, the numbers, and the cases where the product did not help.
How our products work
One plain-language explainer per product: what it does, what it doesn’t, and the numbers behind it.
Test reports
Each report gets a number, a date and a method section. When a result changes, the report is updated and the old figure stays on the record.
Method first
Every report states the equipment, the setup and the conditions, so anyone can repeat the test.
Numbers, not adjectives
We report measurements and match rates. We do not report outcomes we cannot measure.
Misses get published
If a product does not help against a system, that result goes in the report too.
